Learning to be patient with keeping a simple gratitude practice

I have been paying closer attention to keeping a simple gratitude practice this week. Some days I can take a useful next step, while on other days simply acknowledging it feels like progress. I do not want to dismiss a good moment merely because harder feelings still exist beside it. Gentle suggestions and personal experiences are both welcome.

One thing that has helped me is recording one specific moment I want to remember from the day. I keep the goal deliberately small so it feels supportive rather than like another obligation.

Thank you for naming keeping a simple gratitude practice. The details may differ for each person, but your post made me feel less alone in it.

I relate to the part about keeping a simple gratitude practice. What usually tells you that you need comfort, practical help, or simply some space?
