Today I caught myself thinking about starting a creative project without perfection. The standard advice sounds simple, but applying it in ordinary life has been more complicated than I expected. Enjoyment becomes easier when the activity does not have to prove anything about my ability. Gentle suggestions and personal experiences are both welcome.

That is a helpful question. I call a step manageable when I can begin it without needing to feel completely ready first.
