Does anyone else relate to protecting a quiet part of the weekend?

It took me a while to name it, but I am dealing with protecting a quiet part of the weekend. I would like to approach it with more curiosity and less pressure than I have in the past. Restorative time seems to work best when I stop asking it to be productive. If you relate, what is one thing you wish others knew about the experience?

Sometimes I tell one trusted person exactly what would help—listening, company, or a quick check-in later. Being specific takes away some of the guesswork.

My experience has been uneven too. I started noting what happened just before a difficult moment, and over time a few useful patterns became visible.

That is a helpful question. I call a step manageable when I can begin it without needing to feel completely ready first.
