I have been paying closer attention to work follows me into the evening this week. I am trying to notice what helps without turning recovery into another test I have to pass. Rest can be part of responding to overload, not a reward that has to be earned. If you relate, what is one thing you wish others knew about the experience?

Sometimes I tell one trusted person exactly what would help—listening, company, or a quick check-in later. Being specific takes away some of the guesswork.
