This has been on my mind lately: waking up tired after enough hours. I am trying to notice what helps without turning recovery into another test I have to pass. I am trying to treat rest as useful even when sleep itself does not cooperate. I would appreciate hearing what this has looked like in real life for other people.

My experience has been uneven too. I started noting what happened just before a difficult moment, and over time a few useful patterns became visible.

I relate to the part about waking up tired after enough hours. What usually tells you that you need comfort, practical help, or simply some space?

Thank you for naming waking up tired after enough hours. The details may differ for each person, but your post made me feel less alone in it.

I appreciate the honesty here. It is encouraging to see people leave room for different needs, different timelines, and imperfect progress.

One thing that has helped me is making the hour before bed quieter without demanding that I fall asleep. I keep the goal deliberately small so it feels supportive rather than like another obligation.
