Today I caught myself thinking about settling my mind before bed. I am trying to notice what helps without turning recovery into another test I have to pass. I am trying to treat rest as useful even when sleep itself does not cooperate. What helped you feel understood rather than rushed toward a solution?

I relate to the part about settling my mind before bed. What usually tells you that you need comfort, practical help, or simply some space?

Thank you for naming settling my mind before bed. The details may differ for each person, but your post made me feel less alone in it.

I appreciate the honesty here. It is encouraging to see people leave room for different needs, different timelines, and imperfect progress.

One thing that has helped me is making the hour before bed quieter without demanding that I fall asleep. I keep the goal deliberately small so it feels supportive rather than like another obligation.
