A pattern I noticed around letting rest count even when I do not sleep

I have been paying closer attention to letting rest count even when I do not sleep this week. I am learning that a response can be worthwhile even when it does not change everything at once. I am trying to treat rest as useful even when sleep itself does not cooperate. I would appreciate hearing what this has looked like in real life for other people.

My experience has been uneven too. I started noting what happened just before a difficult moment, and over time a few useful patterns became visible.

I relate to the part about letting rest count even when I do not sleep. What usually tells you that you need comfort, practical help, or simply some space?

Sometimes I tell one trusted person exactly what would help—listening, company, or a quick check-in later. Being specific takes away some of the guesswork.
