It took me a while to name it, but I am dealing with not knowing what I need yet. I am trying to notice what helps without turning recovery into another test I have to pass. Holding conflicting feelings at the same time can make even simple decisions feel unclear. Gentle suggestions and personal experiences are both welcome.

Sometimes I tell one trusted person exactly what would help—listening, company, or a quick check-in later. Being specific takes away some of the guesswork.

My experience has been uneven too. I started noting what happened just before a difficult moment, and over time a few useful patterns became visible.

That is a helpful question. I call a step manageable when I can begin it without needing to feel completely ready first.
