Does anyone else relate to building a realistic routine for body and mind?

It took me a while to name it, but I am dealing with building a realistic routine for body and mind. I would like to approach it with more curiosity and less pressure than I have in the past. I am trying to listen to my body as information rather than treating it like a project to control. If you relate, what is one thing you wish others knew about the experience?

I appreciate the honesty here. It is encouraging to see people leave room for different needs, different timelines, and imperfect progress.

That is a helpful question. I call a step manageable when I can begin it without needing to feel completely ready first.

My experience has been uneven too. I started noting what happened just before a difficult moment, and over time a few useful patterns became visible.

I relate to the part about building a realistic routine for body and mind. What usually tells you that you need comfort, practical help, or simply some space?

Sometimes I tell one trusted person exactly what would help—listening, company, or a quick check-in later. Being specific takes away some of the guesswork.
