A recent moment brought up building friendships in a new place for me. I would like to approach it with more curiosity and less pressure than I have in the past. One thing that has helped me is sending a low-pressure message that does not require a long conversation. I keep the goal deliberately small so it feels supportive rather than like another obligation.
