This has been on my mind lately: returning to an activity I once loved. The standard advice sounds simple, but applying it in ordinary life has been more complicated than I expected. Enjoyment becomes easier when the activity does not have to prove anything about my ability. What helped you feel understood rather than rushed toward a solution?

That is a helpful question. I call a step manageable when I can begin it without needing to feel completely ready first.
