I wanted to write honestly about starting a creative project without perfection. I would like to approach it with more curiosity and less pressure than I have in the past. Enjoyment becomes easier when the activity does not have to prove anything about my ability. I would appreciate hearing what this has looked like in real life for other people.

I relate to the part about starting a creative project without perfection. What usually tells you that you need comfort, practical help, or simply some space?

One thing that has helped me is giving myself permission to make an unfinished or imperfect version. I keep the goal deliberately small so it feels supportive rather than like another obligation.

My experience has been uneven too. I started noting what happened just before a difficult moment, and over time a few useful patterns became visible.
