How I am rethinking asking for company on a difficult day

It took me a while to name it, but I am dealing with asking for company on a difficult day. What I need seems to change with my energy, surroundings, and how supported I feel. Low energy can change what counts as a realistic and meaningful accomplishment. What helped you feel understood rather than rushed toward a solution?

I relate to the part about asking for company on a difficult day. What usually tells you that you need comfort, practical help, or simply some space?

One thing that has helped me is reducing the next task until it fits the energy I actually have. I keep the goal deliberately small so it feels supportive rather than like another obligation.

My experience has been uneven too. I started noting what happened just before a difficult moment, and over time a few useful patterns became visible.
