It took me a while to name it, but I am dealing with recognizing one small sign of progress. What I need seems to change with my energy, surroundings, and how supported I feel. Low energy can change what counts as a realistic and meaningful accomplishment. What helped you feel understood rather than rushed toward a solution?

My experience has been uneven too. I started noting what happened just before a difficult moment, and over time a few useful patterns became visible.

One thing that has helped me is reducing the next task until it fits the energy I actually have. I keep the goal deliberately small so it feels supportive rather than like another obligation.

Thank you for naming recognizing one small sign of progress. The details may differ for each person, but your post made me feel less alone in it.

I relate to the part about recognizing one small sign of progress. What usually tells you that you need comfort, practical help, or simply some space?
